(Day one individual teaching)
I gave my students new materials, I was so excited. After
it’s postponed by the holyday and finally I taught them. And I think it was the
hardest material that I gave to them ever. The material was about the five
elements of communication which I was pushed to deliver the five elements just
only in one meeting, it was so challenging but I do really enjoy it because I was trained to be a good and smart future teacher. Could you imagine the struggle to explain it and make the
students understand fully with the material. The challenge was accepted with
many revision and correction by the teacher. Before the teaching activity
conducted, my teacher and I were discussed about this material to simplify it but
still with good and complete explanation. I remembered it took 5 hours of discussion/consultation to arrange the lesson plan and elected the materials. That was
amazing, then I designed the appropriate one after I got the revision. I
practiced more, I told my RSTC friends as my students, and we pretended to
learn like in the classroom. Thanks god I was circled with good and best friends who always motivate me.
For the method that I used, I was applying
students-oriented method and cooperative method. Students are expected to solve
and be more active to solve and state their thought in the classroom in written
or oral. I was so confident to deliver the material because I had my best
practice before and also the students seemed enjoy with my teaching material
and the way I transferred the. I manage the classroom very seriously, every
misbehavior controlled by me and the reinforcements also given meaningfully. I
wanted to plant good characters in my teaching activity. Because I believe that
being smart is not just enough, but when it is supported with good character
you will hold your future brightly.
This meeting was be me final visit, due there was no
time. The schedules actually always the same day with Philippines holyday, so I
have short time to teach during the program. The initial visit was only
assessed my critical teacher.
On this third meeting, I taught a new subject still about
five elements of communication. Here is the lesson plan that I have made,
